Why Attend AIHA Connect

Unlock Your AIHA Connect Value!

AIHA Connect is designed to support your essential work: keeping our workplaces and communities healthy and safe. Have you considered what you'll gain from attending? With your eyes on the prize, nothing can stop your success.

Sessions
  • Education sessions are the heart of the conference. These hour-long presentations given by experts in OEHS topics will help you keep up with developments in your professional areas of expertise, learn new issues arising in the changing global workplace, and delve into OEHS topics outside your primary focus. TIP: Consider attending a few sessions on topics you know less about, which may provide context for issues you deal with daily or expose you to new solutions to current challenges you may be facing.
  • Professional development courses (PDCs), which occur in the days before and after the conference, dive deep into OEHS topics and skills such as leadership, communication, and conflict management, which may help you be a more effective OEHS professional.
  • Earn the most certification maintenance hours available in one setting to prepare for CIH certification or recertification. If you miss a session, have to choose between several, or need more CM contact hours, your registration also includes access to AIHA Connect OnDemand, which provides recordings of most AIHA Connect sessions and is available in the weeks following the conference.
  • Connecting with other OEHS professionals may help you find job or research opportunities, increase your visibility in the profession, build confidence, and gather information about how your field works, such as what employers look for or what skills are essential in which focus areas.
