Professional Development Courses

AIHA Connect hosts professional development courses (PDCs) before and after the conference:

Thursday, May 20 - VIRTUAL ONLY
Friday, May 21 - VIRTUAL ONLY
Saturday, May 22 - IN-PERSON ONLY
Sunday, May 23 - IN-PERSON ONLY
Thursday, May 27 - IN-PERSON ONLY & VIRTUAL ONLY
Friday, May 28 - VIRTUAL ONLY

These courses are formalized learning experiences that, through in-depth instruction by field experts, enhance technical competence and provide practical tools and skills for the modern workplace.

There is a separate registration fee for each PDC. Boxed lunches are provided for all in-person full-day and two-day courses, as well as for in-person registrants of two half-day courses occurring on the same day.

Virtual-only PDCs scheduled on Thursday, May 20,  Friday, May 21, Thursday, May 27, and Friday, May 28 (NEW) are hosted on Zoom. Both speakers and students will be entirely virtual for these courses. Participants must access the session via a Zoom link provided in the mobile app, so please ensure you have access to a computer that will allow for Zoom participation.

In-person only PDCs scheduled on Saturday, May 22, Sunday, May 23, and Thursday, May 27 will be held at the George R. Brown Convention Center. Both speakers and students will be in person for these courses.  No virtual alternatives are available.
